SV: Jag designade broschen som en symbol för minne, hopp och gemenskap.
Formen är inspirerad av vattenringar i havet, hur en enda rörelse kan sprida sig och lämna spår långt bortom sin källa.
När jag såg hur vattnets mönster påminde om ett tumavtryck, väcktes tanken om människans unika avtryck i livet.
Avtryck bär därför två betydelser: det konkreta avtrycket som varje människa lämnar efter sig, och de ringar av kärlek, sorg och minne som sprider sig vidare i dem som finns kvar.
Broschen är framtagen i samarbete med Spes Riksförbund som en symbol för dem som mist någon i suicid, ett stilla tecken på både förlust och hopp.
Den påminner oss om att ingen försvinner helt, varje människa lämnar spår som fortsätter att leva vidare i andra.
ENG: I designed the brooch Avtryck as a symbol of memory, hope, and togetherness. Its form is inspired by ripples in the sea, how a single movement can spread outward and leave traces far beyond its source. When I noticed how the patterns in the water resembled a fingerprint, the idea of the unique imprint each person leaves in life emerged.
Avtryck therefore carries two meanings: the tangible imprint every human being leaves behind, and the ripples of love, grief, and memory that continue to spread through those who remain.
The brooch was created in collaboration with SPES National Federation as a symbol for those who have lost someone to suicide, a quiet sign of both loss and hope. It reminds us that no one ever truly disappears; every person leaves traces that continue to live on in others.
